We at Aavishkaar Foundation, part of the Aavishkaar Group, believe entrepreneurs are the driving force that can transform unprecedented challenges into new opportunities. Supporting local entrepreneurship is crucial for fostering economic growth, reducing unemployment, and promoting sustainable development in the region.

As one of India’s most populous states, Uttar Pradesh has a vast reservoir of untapped potential and a large workforce eager for opportunities. By encouraging local entrepreneurship, the state can boost innovation, improve living standards, and create a more self-reliant economy. Additionally, supporting local businesses helps preserve cultural heritage, strengthens community ties, and ensures that economic benefits are distributed more equitably across the population, leading to a more inclusive and resilient society.

Presented by Aavishkaar Foundation, the Sankalp Bharat Awards 2024 is a platform to showcase, reward and recognize the promising work of outstanding entrepreneurs from our ‘Entrepreneur Investing Program’ featuring local and regional innovators from Uttar Pradesh, specifically from eastern UP who have been building impactful businesses.

At this historic crossroad where culture and celebration of entrepreneurship intersects, the Sankalp community will convene the Sankalp Bharat Summit 2024 in Varanasi at Rudraksh International Convention Center on November 26 -27 2024.

Showcasing innovation and entrepreneurship at Sankalp Bharat

On 26th and 27th of November 2024, we will be celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship and showcase the finalists of the ‘Entrepreneur Investing Program’ and go on to recognize and reward the winning enterprises and showcase a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Core Focus Areas of the Challenge

In 2025, the Foundation plans to re-launch the Entrepreneur Mentorship Program with a more focused approach, integrated with the proposed Incubator that will be set up in the coming months. The proposed Incubator aims to identify, mentor, support and scale businesses in the following three areas:
